No More Stupid Love Song

Oh love! The most intriguing and interesting topic for teenagers and the most sought after feeling of most people. Love as for me, is a very tricky code to crack and a very grueling subject to study for many reasons: One, it is not constant and it always vary for it is influenced by many factors such as the perspective of the person, the environment, friends and etc. and another is that, it can always occur anytime, anywhere and mostly in an unexpected person, time, place and moment of your life.

Well, I have experienced how to love someone so unfathomable. So deep that it came to the point where I have yielded myself and everything that I have for that person. I have planned my future already with her like where were gonna live and all that stuff.

Even though we know that they didn’t asked us to do that for them, we still do because of the love we have for them. We want to show and make them feel that they are that important in our life and losing them is like letting go of everything we’ve had from the start. We do things like this because we trust them so much.

Every time our love one tells us that they love us and they can’t afford to lose us, we tend to care for that person more which leads us to hold on them more. We trust every word they are saying and carving them into our hearts believing that they will hold on to those words just like how tight we keep hold to them but it’s not the reality. Remember, people change and especially feelings. When they change, we can’t do anything about it but to accept the fact that everything has changed now. Today is not like yesterday anymore.

What exacerbates the situation is that you can’t set free of that person because you have confided them and you have counted on everything they have uttered. You thought that maybe they have just forgotten about it and you’ve tried to remind them. The more they convey to you that it’s not like that any longer, the more it stabs your heart to death wondering what happened and why did it came to this point of time.

Well guys, this is life! And this is one of the most important things I’ve learned in love. WORDS ARE WORDS. They don’t mean anything. Trust the person by their actions and not by their words. Don’t get easily carried away by sweet nothings such as “I can’t lose you”, “I can’t live without you”, “I don’t know what to do without you” and everything that falls into that category. I know words convey feelings and affection. They make you feel good and special but remember that when people change, they also alter their minds and when they alter their minds, they don’t remember anything because of the mere fact that they have CHANGED. There’s no more point on persisting onto those words where in fact the person whom who have told you those can no longer remember and keep them in their hearts.

“Be with the person who will do anything just to keep his/her word. You deserve better than this. Move on.”
